Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions is proud to announce details of the free, open to the public, Chicago pep rally/press conference for the highly anticipated super fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The event takes place Thursday, Feb. 22, 10:00am at the UIC Pavilion. The fighters and camps will conduct a public pep rally/press conference and invite fans to be a part of the experience of the most anticipated boxing event in decades.
Kicking off the tour in New York City on Feb 20, the tour will travel across the country making stops in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Six-division world champion De La Hoya will meet the unbeaten, four-division world champion Mayweather, Saturday, May 5 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada .
Promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, the fight will be televised live on HBO Pay-Per-View at 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST.
