Manny wants to be the mayor of General Santos City and the big election is set for May 14. So, with the political process in mind, Bob Arum at Top Rank has shifted his big PPV show featuring Pacman against rugged Mexican Jorge Solis from April 21 to April 14.
The idea being that, after he fights Solis Pacman can fly back to Gensan to resume campaigning. I am currently trying to get voting eligibe so I can back the Pacman early and often in the mayoralty. Can you picture Bob Arum, Oscar DeLaHoya, Freddie Roach , Michael Koncz, Justin Fortune, maybe Shelly Finkel…the whole gang…assembling in Gensan for Election Week? Quite a group, call them Pacman’s Pugilistic Party if you will.
