PACQUIAO READY FOR NEW CHALLENGE IN RIOS:

“No, I’m not losing my confidence as an aggressive fighter. Losing is part of boxing. I mean, this is my job, this is a sport, and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Not all the time you’re on the side of winning,” stated multi-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, who insists that the memory of his devastating knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez is behind him as he heads into his anticipated showdown with former lightweight champion Brandon Rios. As far as Pacquiao is concerned, knockouts are simply part of his job description, and although he was on the receiving end of one in his last fight, he’s eager to hand one out this Saturday.

“The good thing is forget the past and move on and let’s focus on this coming Saturday. It’s gonna be a good fight and I’m excited and happy,” Pacquiao explained as he answered a series of questions during satellite interviews to promote the bout. “I’m really thankful to God that he gave me strength and good health that nothing happened in that last fight and I still can fight, and I’m ready to move on and forget the past. Let’s start another page of my story.”
