Manny Pacquiao, one of the greatest fighters to have ever lived, and a truly great leader of his beloved Philippines, knows an emphatic victory over Brandon Rios can accomplish this. If I seem effusive in my praise of him, it?s because I am. He?s done nothing but carry a sport – and himself ? with class, amid self-imposed scandal and defeat, while seeking redemption with humility.
Many fighters hail from the ranks of desolation and despair, it is the intangible that most likely made them who they are. Brandon Rios is no different. His genuine humility in the face of an international spotlight upon his arrival to China was a reflection of his humble origins. But you can never ?really know humility?, until you?ve been humiliated.
And that is exactly what?s going to happen to him on November 23rd.
His foul, crass, and increasingly boorish behavior is going to be very much a part of his ring persona when he enters the ring in a few days. He will have absolutely no regard or respect for Pacquiao, and will attack him like an angry citizen would a police officer.

Rios is going to walk directly into the blades of spinning propellers.
