I?m eagerly awaiting my review copy of ?Undisputed Truth,? Mike Tyson?s tell-all published by Blue Rider Press. Until such time as it arrives, I must rely on some of what has already been revealed.
The Telegraph writes that Tyson was on drugs during some of his major fights. That?s unwelcome news. My first response upon reading that was, how did the drugs go undetected? The answer, as answers often do, came as a bit of surprise.
According to esteemed British daily, Tyson used a fake penis filled with another person?s urine to pass pre- and post-fight drug tests.
Before you can say ?Whoa Nelly!? or ?Sacr? bleu!? or whatever might be appropriate in light of that revelation, allow me to come clean and admit my ignorance in such matters. It?s not that I?ve never used drugs. It?s that I didn?t know fake penises were available, or that they could be filled with clean and sober pee to pull the wool over the man?s eyes.
Tyson writes that he was given alcohol as a baby, had his first toot at the age of 11, and was a ?full-blown cokehead? addicted to cocaine and marijuana before he knew it.
Mike was high on ?blow? and ?pot? when he fought Lou Savarese in 2000. He was high when he fought Danny Williams in 2004. He did some lines before he bit Lennox Lewis on the thigh during a notorious presser in 2002. But he was able to escape detection because ?I had to use my whizzer, which was a fake penis where you put in someone?s clean urine to pass your drug test.?
I looked on the internet and these things do exist. One website offers a product that is ?simple, natural, quiet and ULTRA REALISTIC !!? For the detail oriented, a preferred skin tone can be selected. There?s ?Black.? There?s ?Flesh.? There?s also ?Latino,? which happens to be out of stock.
