According to online reports Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will no longer return to Freddie Roach after his disappointing performance against Brian Vera. Instead Chavez will train with future hall of fame trainer Robert Garcia.
Should Garcia be able to keep Chavez disciplined then it could be a good fit given Garcia?s resume with fighters who like to brawl and Chavez fighting style. Should Chavez not pay attention to what Garcia has to say and teach him as he has done in the past with Roach and other trainers then the working relationship between the two should be over faster a Mike Tyson KO.
