Floyd Mayweather Snr is prepared to come face to face with his estranged son by remaining in Oscar De La Hoya’s corner for their super-fight in May.
De La Hoya had publicly questioned whether his long-time trainer Mayweather would have a problem with the situation and suggested he may find a replacement cornerman.
But Mayweather Snr said: “Why should I have to stop? I didn’t tell little Floyd to fight him.
“If Oscar wants to beat little Floyd, he has to come to me.”
