“We have agreed to terms”. Those were the words of manager Frank Espinoza when contacted by 15rounds.com when asked about the status of the much talked about bout between WBC super bantamweight champion Israel Vazquez and IBF bantamweight titilst Rafeal Marquez.
The bout will take place on March 3rd in Las Vegas and will be broadcasted on SHOWTIME.
“Everything went smoothly between Sycuan Ringside Promotions, Golden Boy and Gary Shaw and I’m very happy and this fight will be a reality.” said Espinoza. “It’ going to be a wild one.”
The Los Angeles based manager finished by saying, “Now we can concentrate on training for the fight.”
