Froch walks the walk

I?VE always marveled how former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz and pornographic actress Jenna Jameson kept their high-profile marriage intact all these years.

Tito?s capricious personality and Jenna?s risqu? profession seemed to me like a volatile combo of gasoline and matches.

Well, now that they have split not so amicably, Jenna has gone public through Twitter and unleashed damning allegations about Ortiz?s drug abuse.

Here are her tweets:

?My ex took my poor children away from me for NO reason. He did drugs and faked drug tests for UFC.?

?I will start posting pics of Tito and his drug use. Let?s talk the truth!?

?Soon the story of how he almost killed me in February will be public?

Stay tuned. It looks like the 5?7,? 110 pound bombshell will turn out to be Tito?s greatest adversary yet.

FROCH PREVAILS. The rematch was even more scintillating than the first one, but Carl Froch proved that he had more in the gas tank as he outworked the determined Mikkel Kessler to win via unanimous decision.

Froch (31-2, 22KOs) stormed out to an early lead and his faster hands proved to be the determining factor in this closely fought battle.

Kessler rallied in the middle rounds and wobbled Froch but the irreverent and loquacious Brit hung on.

The second half of the fight was brutal and intense. The Danish fighter landed the more accurate blows but Froch would respond with his eye-catching combinations.

In the end, Froch finished strong while Kessler looked tired and spent.

I?ve never been a fan of Froch?s maladroit attitude, but that fight showed he could back up the talk with a showcase of speed and skill on top of the ring.

A third match would be interesting as that loss is certainly not a death knell for Kessler?s career. The ?Viking Warrior? was right there with Froch and gave ?Cobra? fits. If he can find a way to implement a better strategy, there?s no reason why he cannot repeat the outcome in their first encounter.

Froch also has the option of seeking a rematch with his other conqueror, Andre Ward. His career seems to be on a roll right now and the Kessler victory could gain traction with the fans.

A third alternative is a reckoning with the ageless Bernard Hopkins. That fight would be draw a huge public if it were held in London, but the crafty Hopkins would probably thumb the fight down unless it were held in the United States.

UFC 160. From the fine display of fistic fireworks at Kessler-Froch 2 we get a contrasting exhibit with the brutish ways proliferating at UFC 160 as the heavy hitters took center stage.

Junior dos Santos proved his prodigious right hand is still one of the most feared weapons in the sport as he repeatedly bludgeoned the durable Mark Hunt en route to a TKO win in the third round.

In the main event, Cain Velasquez made short work of the giant Antonio Silva by landing a short right hand which traveled only a few feet and found a sweet spot on Silva?s protruding jaw.

It seems like these two are on a collision course for a rubber match and you know what I do when I get to witness these caveman type slugfests.

I get a bib.

HE SAID IT. ?Canelo (Alvarez) comes from the streets of Mexico, and you have to understand that, and he has bad intentions, let me tell you. This kid is a street guy who has bad intentions, so, you know, he lives to win. The question is, is Mayweather going to beat Canelo solely on experience? I would guess that I think not.? LAST ROUND. It?s on Tobin Miguel Alcarez who recently celebrated his second birthday. Cheers!
