Shane Mosley (47-8-1, 39 KOs) turned back the clock moments ago at the Grand Oasis Resort in Cancun, Mexico where he pounded out a spirited twelve round unanimous decision win over Pablo Cesar Cano (26-3-1, 20 KOs) as seen live on Fox Deportes. The younger Cano got out to a quicker start trying to take the fight to the older Mosley. Cano used a great jab and a high activity level to win some rounds early but the 41-year old Mosley came roaring back in the middle rounds and seemed to hurt Cano in the sixth. Cano recovered well and both men landed some good shots in what was an exciting fight down the stretch. The vast experience of Mosley was the deciding factor as the veteran found another gear late in the fight and really put the heat on the younger man. It was vintage ?Sugar? Shane with hard body shots and fast combinations that carried the way late in this one. When the final bell rang it was a close and competitive win on the cards (115-113 x3) to give Mosley a victory in his comeback bout.
