International Boxing Federation junior featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao and featherweight king Marco Antonio Barrera were featured in a star-studded presentation at the Alamadome in San Antonio, Texas yesterday with ?The Golden Boy? Oscar de la Hoya on hand to promote what has been billed as the ?Clash of the Titans.?
De la Hoya said he was excited about the Nov. 15 fight card saying that Pacquiao ?always gives a great performance. We have all seen what he can do. He has excellent power.?
Referring to Barrera, De la Hoya said he is ?the people?s champion. He is considered by many to be one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in boxing today. This matchup is the type of fight the fans wants to see. This fight will be a war.?
