Heading into the biggest fight of his career, Robert Guerrero is looking to shock the world, when he takes on Floyd Mayweather Jr. for a welterweight title on May 4 in Las Vegas.
Guerrero, currently training in Vegas, spoke to the media on Wednesday morning to discuss the upcoming fight and proclaimed that Mayweather is ripe for the picking.
?I truly believe got puts people in front of you for a reason. Got put (Mayweather) in front of me for a reason, and I am going to beat him,? said Guerrero.
Asked about what he could do differently than Mayweather?s previous opponents, Guerrero said it?s importan to ?stay mentally strong and keep the game plan together, or changing the game plan if need be.?
?The Ghost? believes the southpaw style can give Mayweather the fits and says he?ll be the man to humble Floyd and his critics.
?Not just humbling him, but humbling the boxing world. You got everybody thinking Floyd is God. He ain?t God.?
?The southpaw style gives some trouble. If (DeMarcus) Corley or (Zab) Judah (previous Mayweather opponents) didn?t get tired, they would have won those fights,? added Guerrero.
