Former undisputed lightweight world champion Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz joined the 8CN Podcast and talked about his comeback fight. This fight is scheduled for April 13th at the American Bank Center, in Chorpus Christi, Texas. Diaz will face Pipino Cuevas Jr (16-9-14KO)
Diaz retired from boxing roughy 2 years ago. He came up short in his last two fights against Juan Manuel Marquez, and Paulie Malignaggi. Diaz tells 8CN that the reason he’s coming back to the sport is because he’s got the fire again. He was at the Pacquiao Vs. Marquez fight and watched the sensational knockout that took place that night. Diaz tells 8CN that watching Pacquiao get knocked out like that lit a fire in him, so that’s why he decided to return.
