According to Promociones del Pueblo, the World Boxing Council has ordered an interesting clash between Mexican countrymen Roberto “Massa” Ortiz (28-0, 22KOs), the WBC’s silver junior welterweight champion, and Jose “Piston” Piston (18-3-1, 11KOs), who returned on Saturday night in Uruapan and stopped Mahonri Montes in seven rounds. Ortiz last fought in February, winning a six round technical decision over Fidel Munoz.
