Yesterday ‘The Telegraph” ( a U.K. based media publication) updated their pound-for-pound (p4p) World and UK rankings. Sitting on top of the World rankings is Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr., with Andre Ward holding #2. “The Cobra”, Carl Froch takes the top spot in the UK’s ratings with Amir Khan in the #2 spot. (You can see both P4P listed below.)
What you may find interesting in the World rankings is that Manny Pacquiao is still ranked higher than fellow Filipino great, Nonito Donaire. A lot of P4P rankings by various media sources have dropped Pacquiao’s rank slightly, favoring Donaire over the ‘Pacman’. Now if that is fair, right or wrong… that’s up to you… I’m just pointing out that not all publications agree.
