LOS ANGELES-Manny Pacquiao went back to spar for 10 more rounds Monday and did the mitts Tuesday with trainer Freddie Roach who dismissed as nothing serious a minor right leg pain the Filipino superstar has been feeling recently here.
Pacquiao was still impressive in the two workout days, sparring against 145-pound Javier Garcia for six rounds and mixing it up with Art Simonyan and Jorge Diaz for three and one round, respectively.
With a little more than two weeks left before Pacquiao’s big fight with International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association champion Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Roach is not gambling on burning Pacquiao too much in training.
