That title ? and the one from Ring Magazine ? are the only titles that will be on the line when Barrera, generally recognized as the best featherweight in the world, meets Manny Pacquiao on Nov. 15 at the Alamodome.
Barrera said Thursday he plans to return to boxing’s mainstream in the near future to once again fight for a title from one of the sport’s three major sanctioning bodies, something he has not done in more than a year.
