Manny Pacquiao ironically is one of the few people in that camp that hasn’t changed much over the years. He’s an 8 division world champion and has made more money than God, yet he pretty much has stayed the same. This can’t be said for those around him though.
Pacquiao just got brutally knocked out by a picture perfect right hand delivered by his nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez. It was the 4th fight between the two, and Marquez put the stamp on this envelope. I’m not sure if this is the end for Manny or not, but he’ll never be the same after that knockout.
I feel bad for Pacquiao because he’s been a great champion both inside and outside of the ring. He’s been a blessing for many people in need, and simply put, the guy is just nice. He’s done more for boxing, and more for the world than most countries have.

I’m glad that Pacman has stayed somewhat grounded over the years. It’s been harder and harder to get interviews with him. His fame has risen to such a level that it’s created MORE levels to get through to him. This isn’t Manny’s fault though. You know something is messed up when a gym gets to a point where they don’t let people take photos in it anymore. This loss will perhaps pop the big heads that float around on Vine Street.
Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao is more than likely completely dead now. Roach has gone winless in big fights this year and certainly won’t be getting any coach of the year awards. Robert Garcia has taken that torch.

So we’ll see what the future holds for Manny Pacquiao. I’m just glad that he’s OK after that knockout loss. It was tough to watch. I will always have respect and admiration for Pacquiao. He’ll go down as one of the best ever. He has earned that respect, and this loss will not ruin his legacy in the least.
