Former undisputed middleweight world champion Kelly Pavlik sat down with 8CN and updated us on the Andre Ward situation. Pavlik tells 8CN that he definitely wants this fight, and he’ll be talking with his manger Cameron Dunkin tomorrow.
Pavlik tells 8CN that if the fight does happen, it will probably happen in January or February. It’s important to point out that Pavlik is the former undisputed middleweight champion, and at this point in his career, he shouldn’t have to take too short of money. Hopefully they will pay the guy a fair purse, and we can get this fight done.
Pavlik is confident of a victory over Ward. He tells 8CN that Ward will be in for a long night if he stands in front of him. He also says that under his new trainer Robert Garcia, he has the ability to move and wear down his opponents.
