Boxing writer Nick Giongco of the Manila Bulletin reported Sunday that bootleg copies of Manny Pacquiao?s life story, which showcases some of his greatest ring encounters, including historic footage from his early fights, were being peddled openly at the Muslim Center in Quiapo.
Such patently illegal activities, which have given the country a very bad international reputation, cannot happen unless it is being done in connivance with law enforcement agencies and powerful people, who appear to thrive on wrecking legitimate business and coddling law breakers.
