Current 2 time welterweight world champion Paulie Malignaggi (32-4-7KO) sat down with 8CN and talked about his recent victory over Pablo Cesar Cano. Malignaggi was in a tough scrap in front of his home town fans in Brooklyn, NY this past Saturday night, at the beautiful Barclays Center.
The two time champ admits that this was a tough fight for him, saying Cano is “One tough customer.” Paulie got knocked down in the 11th round, but quickly got up and went on to win the fight. He tells 8CN that the knockdown certainly got his attention, but in a fight you usually get hit.
