MANILA, Philippines ? After dominating his Japanese opponent Toshiaki Nishioka, Filipino boxer Nonito Donaire celebrated his victory by watching a movie where he is the leading man.
Donaire celebrated his victory by going to the movies Sunday night. He hosted a screening of his new Visayan film, ?Pala Ta Ang Nagbuot.?
The movie is a remake of a 1969 film, wherein Donaire?s role was originally played by Filipino boxing legend Gabriel ?Flash? Elorde.
Donaire co-stars with Gloria Sevilla, and the movie is directed by Sevilla?s son, Dandin Ranillo.
