Undefeated Toowoomba boxer ?The Great White? Brayd Smith will put his record on the line when he takes on Thailand?s Phissanuthep Chaiyonggym on October 19 in the co ? main event at Rumours international in Toowoomba on the ?Smithy Brings the Big Fights 2? card.
Smith, who is 4 wins from 4 fights (with 4 by way of knockout) as a professional will once again give away plenty of experience to the renowned body puncher from Thailand who has fought 24 professional fights with 14 wins (6 by knockout) see full records attached below.
?I have tried very hard to match him with fighters rated higher then him in this country including Emmanuel McCallef, Tommy Clarke, Luke Norton and the Australian Champion Jerry Spanidis however once again we were forced to go international and give away experience and maturity,? said trainer and manager Brendon Smith.
?This is a very difficult fight for Brayd, where he will have to be on his game to win. I have studied two tapes of this fighter in which he knocked out both of his opponents with body shots. He has a strong attack to the body and come forward style, which will make an exciting fight on October 19.?
?We are giving away a lot of experience and maturity here and once again touch wood if all goes to plan Brayd can gain a lot of experience from this fight.?
This fight will be one of 8 professional fights on October 19 which include:
Featherweight – Jack Asis vs Maxsaisai Sithsaithong
