8CountNews sat down with the former undisputed middleweight world champion Kelly Pavlik, and got his thoughts on a wide array of topics. Pavlik is coming off of an impressive win over Will Rosinsky adding to his win streak, which stands at 4 in a row.
Pavlik absolutely rips Julio Cesar Chavez Jr for testing positive for marijuana and for drinking. Pavlik isn’t judging anyone, he is however curious as to why the networks and everyone else in boxing gives a guy like Chavez a pass for his behaviors, yet they throw him under the bus for running into a light post with an ATV. Pavlik has a great point. The guy went to rehab, and he has cleaned up things, so what gives?
Pavlik also mentions Manny Pacquiao as another fighter who’s outside of the ring behaviors seem to go unoticed, yet his did not. Pavlik mentions Pacquiao’s gambling habits and other activities outside of the ring that he feels got swept under the rug by the powers that be as well.
Pavlik also brings up Floyd Mayweather. Kelly lists the things Mayweather has done outside of the ring, yet they gets swept away by the networks as well.
