AS far as Manny Pacquiao?s camp is concerned, a fight with world super-featherweight champion Eric Morales has been penciled in?nothing more, nothing less.
?I signed a five-fight contract with HBO [the US cable giant] and the second of those fights will be against Eric Morales this July,? admitted Rod Nazario, business manager of the Filipino ring idol, on Tuesday in the weekly Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum at the Manila Pavilion.
Conflicting reports had it that Morales, the reigning World Boxing Council 130-lb titlist, is set to meet International Boxing Federation (IBF) counterpart Carlos Hernandez in a unification bout on July 31.
The date happens to be the same one Pacquiao is supposed to meet the Mexican hard-punching machine.
