Former WBO lightweight world champion Michael Katsidis (28-6-23KO) sat down with 8CountNews and talked about his next fight. He’s shooting for a fight Vs. Michael Alvarado. That fight is still in the works and not a done deal as of yet. Katsidis wants one more world title. He tells 8CN that he’s not in this sport for money, he wants one more crack at a title, then he will see what’s next.
Michael also talks about Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley. He sides with most, the fight was a total robbery. He also talks about Floyd Mayeather Jr, and what Floyd’s options are when he gets out of jail in about 17 days.
Katsidis also talked about previous bouts Vs. Robert Guerrero, and his last victory over Michael Lozada which took place in his home country of Australia. He also talked about his brother, who died in 2010. Katsidis tells 8CN that the grieving process is finally over, and he is very much looking forward to getting back into the ring.
