Fresh from her impressive domination of Yolanda Segura in Mexico last May, 3-time womens boxing world champion Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton (11-3-1, 1 KO) will be heading back to Kanasin, Mexico for yet another test against the dangerous Magali ?The Magician? Rodriquez (6-4-1, 3KOs) on August 3. Julaton has built a following within the Yucatan boxing faithful as this will be her fourth fight in the city that has dubbed her ?The Yucatan Princess?. ?This another major fight for me?, stated Julaton. ?Rodriquez is no ?walk in the park?. She will bring it all on August 3 and I have to be prepared accordingly,” added Julaton.
Julaton has her sights on another title shot and is making noise for a clash with WBA super bantamweight Jackie Nava who will be defending her title against former foe Lisa Brown on Augugst 18 in Mexico, and perhaps even bring that fight to the Philippines.
“I have asked Allan Tremblay, my Promoter, to make that happen and I know he is undertaking discussions for a contest at home either late in 2012 or early 2013. That will be the ultimate for me. A proud Filipina finally getting a chance to fight in front of my many fans who have been supporting me for so long. This is my dream,? said Julaton
