What better time for the two top fighters on the planet to sit down and talk. Pacquiao should hop on a plane and head to Las Vegas and visit Floyd at the jail. Nobody else should be present during the visit. It should be Floyd, Manny, and the jail cell. I bet the two men could make an awful lot of progress toward a future fight.
Mayweather wouldn’t have the usual “Money Team” all up and around him, and Pacquiao wouldn’t have his usual 20 or 30 hip welded followers either. The two of them could have a constructive conversation on how to make the fight. here are so many lies that are told on all sides of this saga that it’s enough to make a person’s head spin off. Walking through the Pacquiao/Mayweather world is like walking through a mine field. One wrong step and you can get your legs blown off. It’s nothing but a web filled with lies and half truths.
If the two fighters could just sit down and talk things out with no interference from those who look to suck the money away, perhaps this thing can get done. If anything, at least the two men could possibly find some common ground. We are all still suffering from the ridiculous scores of the Pacquiao Vs. Bradley fight. Hopefully we won’t see a rematch of that one. Pacquiao doesn’t have anything to prove by fighting Bradley again. Marquez Vs. Pacquiao is a possibility but not a guarantee either. Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather doesn’t appear very likely in the near term future, but perhaps the two could talk and work something out in the not so far future.
