Pacquiao No Longer Lethal, Says Bradley

Manny Pacquiao is no longer as lethal as he used to, the Filipino?s celebrated tormentor claimed a few days ago.

Tim Bradley, who was awarded a controversial 12-round split decision win over Pacquiao that the entire world saw as a grave injustice, told his hometown

paper that boxing star is starting to slow down.

?I think he?s declining. He had me hurt in the ninth round and couldn?t finish

me. The old Manny could have done that. I think he?s worn out,? Bradley told the Desert Sun, the main newspaper serving Palm Springs, California.

Talks are rife that the two are bound to meet again and Bradley assured everyone that Pacquiao will be in for a rude awakening.

?The second fight will be a lot Textmore dangerous for him,? bragged the 28-year-old Bradley, who, despite the ruling made by a five-man panel of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), will not be stripped off the welterweight title belt.

Pacquiao hasn?t made his choice as an opponent for a Nov. 10 fight although it is only a choice between Bradley and his Mexican nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez.

Promoter Bob Arum and Pacquiao are slated to hold talks next week in Los Angeles to determine the best option out there.

Although Pacquiao could not put Bradley away, the 33-year-old punching

lawmaker did manage to put his unbeaten foe in trouble many times but he simply could not find the right combination to get the job done.

Bradley?s repeated ducking and a touch of counter-punching succeeded in making Pacquiao miss badly with his best blows.

As in some of Pacquiao?s last few fights, his opponents have found refuge in going the distance with him, something

that they would later use as some sort of a feat.

Pacquiao has morphed into a fine fighter the past few years that it has gotten to a point where forcing Pacquiao

to go the distance is already an accomplishment in itself.
