This was the stern warning issued by the Juan Manuel Marquez camp Tuesday as the WBA/IBF featherweight champion sneered at Manny Pacquiao?s much-publicized prediction that he?ll knock out the Mexican fighter in three rounds of their keenly-awaited clash on May 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
“Manny (Pacquiao) should not get carried away by the hype of his victory over Marco (Barrera) last year because he?ll meet a sad reality when he meets Juan Manuel, who is technically superior than Barrera offensively and defensively,” said Marquez?s manager Ignacio Beristain in an interview with the Boxingscene.com. “I?m convinced the result is going to be ever so different.”
