Ignacio Beristain, the wily manager of WBA and IBF Featherweight Champion Juan Manuel Marquez is warning Manny Pacquiao not to get carried away with all the hype, following his victory over Marco Antonio Barrera.The ever observant Beristain noted that Manny arrived in the United States weighing 136 pounds. While his fighter Juan Manuel is already under 131 pounds and has been doing weeks of roadwork in biting winds, at over five thousand metres, in the rugged mountains above the Otomi High Altitude Training Center near Toluca.
Don Ignacio insists that Juan Manuel is focused, determined and thirsting for May 8th at the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas. But he noted about Manny:
?After his important victory against Marco Antonio Barrera, he?s now the good boy of important television networks, and brimming with optimism, but he?ll meet a sad reality when he meets Juan Manuel, who?s technically superior to Barrera offensively and defensively and I?m convinced the result is going to be ever so different.?
