Earlier today at ESPN Zone inside of L.A. Live in Los Angeles, a tense press conference took place between participants Amir Khan and Danny Garcia, who meet on July 14th in a junior welterweight attraction from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Khan, a former champion at 140 pounds, was hoping to get revenge against Lamont Peterson on May 19th, but the fight was scrapped after the Washington, D.C. fighter failed a pre-fight drug test. The British star now sets his sights on the ambitious Garcia, a confident and brash fighter from Philadelphia who is coming off of a points victory over Erik Morales earlier this year that netted him the WBC junior welterweight crown.
There was definitely some bravado coming from both sides today, and a closer look at the photos above will give reader?s an inside look at today?s presser. For more, please visit Photos: A closer look at the tense Amir Khan-Danny Garcia presser in L.A.
