All Carlos Molina does is beat people up and then for his efforts he gets no reward. That’s basically how this young fighter’s career has gone as of late. In his most recent fight Vs. James Kirkland, he basically dominated up until late in the fight when his corner-man mistakenly entered the ring forcing the referee to DQ him. So what happens? Kirkland gets a gift DQ win, and goes on to get the nod for a title shot Vs. Alvarez. Molina once again gets looked over.
Molina also by most accounts defeated Erislandy Lara back in March, 2011 but was not rewarded with the win by the judges. Again, Molina gets a bad deal. After the Lara fight he would take on Kermit Cintron and would go on to thrash him over 10 rounds. What else does this kid need to do in order to get rewarded for his efforts? So now we move forward to now. The current champion Canelo Alvarez is looking for an opponent.
Kirkland for reasons yet to be determined was initially given the opportunity to fight Alvarez, this even with getting his butt handed to him by Molina in his previous fight. Kirkland sustained a shoulder injury so now the champ is left looking for another opponent. Hey boxing powers that be, WHAT ABOUT CARLOS MOLINA??
