Pacquiao looks to make a statement Vs. Bradley

It’s been a little bumpy road for Manny Pacquiao for the past year or so. His usual damage free reputation has taken some hits with reports of marriage issues, gambling, and lawsuits, but as of recent, he’s righted the course.

Pacquiao is having a monster camp. He seems to have gotten things right with his wife, and reports coming out of Wild Card Gym is that he’s 100 percent focused, happy, and hungry. One wouldn’t think that someone with as many accomplishments as Manny has piled up would be hungry, but that’s what it seems like.

Pacquiao hasn’t looked quite as dominant in his last few performances. He’s had leg cramps in his last two fights, and he’s showed some signs of slowing a bit. The question is whether or not these signs are due to aging, or are they do to distractions? According to what’s going on in camp, perhaps it was just some distractions.

Pacman will square off Vs. Timothy Bradley, who’s a young, strong, and fast opponent. Bradley will show up to fight, and he will try to press. This my friends could be where Bradley makes his biggest mistake.

Recently I spoke with my friend “Sugar” Shane Mosley. I happen to disagree with Shane on this point. Mosley feels that Bradley may in fact defeat Pacquiao. I think that it’s possible, but it’s not very probable. Pacquiao in my opinion will stop Bradley late in the fight, somewhere around the 10th round or so.

If Bradley tries to move forward and press Pacquiao, he may regret it. If Pacquiao still retains the speed and power of old, Bradley may be walking right into a buzz saw. Pacquiao has shown in camp that the old Pacquiao has returned. From all reports, Pacquiao has that killer look on his face again. He has that hungry look that strikes fear into those who step into the ring with him.
