On Friday, June 1, 2012, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will stay for close to 11 weeks in a jail cell that looks like this. The Las Vegas Police Department released the photo late last year soon after the 35-year-old’s plea bargain arrangement for domestic violence.

Mayweather’s 87-day sentence amounts to a slap on the wrist considering that he faced several felony charges that could have landed the new WBA light middleweight champion in prison for years. The judge also ordered Mayweather to complete 100 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine.
The most likely scenario is that Mayweather will be released in less than two months for good behavior. However, the worst case scenario would be a violent incident or altercation involving one or more of the other prisoners which could extend Mayweather’s incarceration indefinitely. Advertisement

All of them oppose any of the other groups at least while in prison. In the United States, more than half of newly-released prisoners are re-incarcerated for repeat offenses.
