In preparation of his June 16th defense of his WBC middleweight crown against tough Irishman Andy Lee, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has been putting into work at Las Vegas at the Top Rank Gym.
One of the biggest draws in boxing, Chavez is a clear favorite over Lee but the real intrigue seems to be whether or not we will see him in a fight with the man regarded as the world?s best middleweight, Sergio Martinez.
While taking a break from training, Chavez was recently greeted by superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather is coming off of a May 5th battle with Miguel Cotto, a fight in which he pulled out a unanimous decision verdict.
Appearing to be very jovial with one another, it was clear that Floyd was definitely wishing Chavez his share of fortunes prior to the Lee showdown.
