THE Mexican protagonists for this Saturday?s blockbuster boxing event, ?Pinoy Pride XIV ? Night of Champions?, hits Manila tonight.
The teams of world-rated Felipe Salguero and ex-world title contender Genaro ?Poblanito? Garcia are scheduled to arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 6:15 p.m.
Salguero will be accompanied by trainer Conrado Guerrero Siqueiros and Pedro Mora Corrales, while Garcia is with trainer Sergio Alfredo Hernandez and Jesus Arturo Contreras.
Salguero will challenge WBO light flyweight champion Donnie Nietes in the main event, while Garcia takes on unbeaten Filipino prospect Genesis Servania for the WBC International Silver super bantamweight crown in one of the featured bouts.
Salguero is rated seventh in both the WBO and International Boxing Federation light flyweight class and is a former World Boxing Federation and WBC Youth light flyweight titleholder.
