MANILA, Philippines ? Jinkee Pacquiao admitted she used to distrust her husband Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao before the boxer turned over a new leaf.
?Our lives were like a roller coaster ride? before it’s something like half-half, 50-50 trust, doubt and trust,? Jinkee said in the HBO documentary “24/7 Pacquiao versus Bradley,” where she disclosed their marital problems before her husband renewed his faith in God.
She said this distrust stemmed from her husband?s vices, which reportedly included women.
The boxing superstar was known to have engaged in excessive partying and gambling and was also rumored to have had illicit relationships, particularly with former actress Krista Ranillo.
?Now it’s very different than before,? said Jinkee. ?It’s full of trust. Now we have a happy life together.?
She said the change forced them to close some of their business establishments, like their sports bar.
?Manny decided to close it, because if he goes to that place, there’s drinking, smoking, betting… and then girls, so he decided to stop it all. He decided to focus on Jesus,? she said.
