Just as Lamont Peterson is fending off his own witch hunt, the pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao is fending one off as well. Pacquiao has been taking the worst media beating of his life. This after another boxing writer wrote an article that many interpreted as Pacquiao saying that homosexuals should die. This created a fire-storm that ripped across the web and even went as far as folks calling for Pacquiao’s sponsors like NIKE to drop him like a hot potato.
Pacquiao has since denied that he said such a ridiculous thing, and I happen to believe him. Come on man, do people really believe that Pacquiao would actually endorse such a preposterous act? Kill Gay people? It’s utterly amazing to me how these things just take off like wild fire and people actually believe it.
First of all people, NO Pacquiao doesn’t want Gay people to be exterminated from earth. Does he feel that Gay marriage is wrong? Yes, he as a God fearing man does believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Does he endorse the killing of homosexuals? Get real people. Advertisement

There are some writers and some publishers out there that need to bury their heads in the sand. Those so called news sources/writers that jumped to conclusions and accused Pacquiao of saying such nonsense should all be held accountable.
Rumors like this could cost Manny his sponsors and that would be very unfair and not appropriate. Writers need to research before they publish such garbage. People need to research, and they need to get their facts straight, and they need to write with clarity.
Pacquiao has recently gotten his life back in order and has made strides to repair his image. His image wasn’t really that bad but recently it’s come out that he has gambled a lot of money, and that he and his wife had some problems. Pacquiao recently got back on track with his life and was having a great training camp, and then this stupidity arises.
This has become a media witch hunt against a man that never said anything about Gay people dying. People need to just relax, take a deep breath, and let’s get ready for a good fight between Pacquiao and Bradley.
