It was around this time last year that fan-favorite Jorge Arce stole the show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fighting on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard inside of the MGM Grand, Arce would stage a courageous comeback after being floored by Puerto Rico?s Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. in the fourth round of their junior featherweight title bout. Arce would rise, work his way back into the contest, and eventually halt a fading Vazquez in the twelfth and final round with the fight hanging in the balance on the scorecards.
Once again fighting on a Pacquiao undercard, as the Filipino whirlwind defends his WBO welterweight title against undefeated Timothy Bradley on June 9th, Arce is again looking to steal the spotlight when he meets up with once-beaten Jesus Rojas.
Now 32 years old, Arce is still looking for a memorable final run in his career and has been rumored as a possible for Nonito Donaire later in the year.
