INDIO, CA – Drawing 8/5 for Manny Pacquiao and banking Pacquaio to win either by KO or TKO, or by disqualification, which yields $ 100 to $ 160, and for Timothy Bradley suggesting 10/1 to win by the same protential outcome(s), which would make $ 100 to take $ 1,000, should be both quite of an attraction and an intrigue, as of this writing, at least according to Sportsbetting.com.

And who would not want to win with this quantitive picture that despite what Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, has told to the world, saying, “Timothy Bradley will fall like a tree” in the hands of his pupil come fight night on June 9 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and yet the same fighting odds give less credence to his Roach’s statement.
In my recent interview with one of the best trainers of the world today from Indio’s Boys and Girls Club of America, Joel Diaz, who trains Bradley, thinks “Pacquiao needs to knock out Bradley,” to be convincing of his supremacy.
Diaz thinks Pacquiao’s image as a great fighter is less appealing when he faced “wash-up fighters and an aging, retirable pugilists, in the likes of Oscar de la Hoya, Sugar Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Antonio Margarito and even ‘the muscle-wasted’ (writer’s description) and severely drained Miguel Cotto.” He says Pacquiao will be facing a tougher, younger and much more intelligent fighter who is undefeated and one who is not intimidated of his (Pacquiao) being the best fighter of the era.
Diaz says “Bradley has some troubling surprises for Pacquiao.” But, he says he still has a job to do, from now on and until the last round of Bradley-Pacquiao fight.
“My job is to take away from Timothy’s mind that belief of Pacquiao being the best fighter in the era,” says Diaz. “I will teach him to avoid thinking about that because at the end of the day the only difference is the bigger height.”
Diaz continues: “Once the bell rings, it’s the fight and only him and Pacquiao in the ring. I know it’s tough task for them (referring to Pacquiao’s corner) and it’s tough for us. But, it’s going to be who has the better strategy who will win.”
“As for me, I am not going to show up to fight, I am going to show up to win,” Diaz adds.
Diaz believes Pacquiao hits with the punch that a fighter can’t see and he knocks him out. He rather believes Pacquiao cannot hit Timothy.
“Timothy, with his consistency and strategy, will beat Pacquiao. He’ll outbox Pacquiao.”
