Former WBC interim featherweight champion Humberto Soto is looking for a new opponent for his August 12 pay-per-fight on the Rahman-Maskaev undercard in Las Vegas. Soto’s original opponent Bobby Pacquiao has been pulled out by his manager. Pacquiao has been offered a match with former IBF titlist Robbie Peden on a later date, but as of now nothing has been signed. He will not fight on August 12. Soto’s fight with Pacquiao was slated to be a WBC 130lb eliminator. Humberto recently relinquished the 126lb title to move up to the super featherweight division. “I feel more comfortable at 130 pounds,” said Soto. “I’d like to stay at this weight for a year, then I’d like to jump to the lightweight division.”
