When it comes to predictions for tonight’s Floyd Mayweather against Miguel Cotto mega-fight, the decision is unanimous.
Local boxing experts have ?Money? winning, expecting him to stop Cotto in the 12-round World Boxing Association super-welterweight title fight.

Timothy Bradley: The Desert Storm is one of the few who think this will be a close fight, and that Cotto could go the distance.
?Everyone is banking on a stoppage. I don’t see it happening,? said Bradley, who will face boxer of the decade Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. ?Cotto went 12 rounds with Pacquiao, he went 10 rounds against (Antonio) Margarito when he had the plaster in his gloves. Mayweather doesn’t punch like that, period. He doesn’t punch like Zab Judah.?
But Bradley does see a Mayweather victory.

Lee Espinoza: The Godfather of local boxing thinks the fight will be a mismatch.
?I’m not even interested to watch it,? said Espinoza, the head of the Coachella Valley Boxing Club. ?Mayweather is going to win easy. I think it will be an easy fight. I give it seven or eight rounds, and they’re going to stop the fight. Cotto is going to get cut up and be a real mess. Either the doctor or the corner will stop it. I don’t think it can go more than eight rounds.?
Gabino Saenz: The promising young talent out of Indio thinks Cotto could have a chance if he can find the range against Mayweather.
?They say timing beats speed and timing beats power as well,? Saenz said. ?He has to have perfect timing that night. He has to be the better man all around. Mayweather could have an off night and if he capitalizes on it, it could go either way.?
Cotto’s timing could go a long way with his knockout power, Saenz said.
Antonio Diaz: The former IBA welterweight champion thinks the defense by the crafty Mayweather is too much for Cotto.
