I have been saying for quite a long time now that the reason Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will not fight is because Bob Arum doesn’t want it to happen. This evening on ESPN FNF’s, Teddy Atlas agreed. Atlas was asked if he thought Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao would ever happen, Atlas snapped back, ”When are you people going to learn? This fight isn’t going to happen because Bob Arum wont allow it.” Atlas knows the deal, and if you have two cents worth of sense, so should you.

Atlas told the audience that Pacquiao should do what De La Hoya did, promote himself. Atlas is right. Pacquiao gets ripped off every time he fights because he has to fork out millions to his promoter. Pacquiao at this point doesn’t need a promoter. He can promote himself and he wouldn’t have to fork out half his money to anyone.
It’s time Pacquiao gets smart about his career. He needs to rid himself of the blood sucking leeches that have been taking his money.
Floyd Mayweather may be greedy but he isn’t scared. Floyd is a fighter, and has been fighting since he was a kid. Nobody can tell me that he’s scared to fight Manny Pacquiao. I said a long time ago that if the promoters were removed from the table, this fight would have happened a long time ago.
A few scribes who write blindly and hug the nuts of Pacquiao on a daily basis believe that Mayweather is scared and this is all Floyd’s fault. That is nonsense. Teddy Atlas on a nationally televised broadcast this evening summed it up perfectly. This fight won’t happen because Bob Arum won’t let it happen.
