MMA – ‘Rampage + Pacquiao = awesome’ is the title of this headline. Yeah, journalism is dead. Yet, the evolving world of social sharing and new age lingo is offering freedom in creative expression (?). Huh, whatever.
There’s no news here folks. You’re lending me your eyeballs because, on Tuesday, Manny Pacquiao – welterweight extra-ordinaire from the world of boxing – had dinner with Rampage Jackson of UFC fame. I’m sure a few minutes later they each washed their hands.
It all went down in Baguio, Philippines where the Pacman is training to whoop Timothy Bradley’s a** (or forehead) on June 9th in Las Vegas.
Last week, on some internet board, an Irish dude referred to Pacquiao as the “Eastern elf”. What does that make Floyd Mayweather, Jr? The Western boogeyman? Come to think of it, Rampage and the Eastern Elf sounds like an action-adventure musical on an acid trip, with hard punk rock blaring next door.
Rampage. Yeah, he’s good inside the octagon. But he will forever be etched in my memory for dry-humping attractive reporter Heather Nichols. (See video.) Rampage, whatever you accomplish in life, that’ll be your legacy.
