It seems like Social Media is the best place to vent without being face to face with the person your upset with. In this case we have Vanes Martirosyan who is upset with Oscar De La Hoya. Apparently Oscar De La Hoya is pushing hard to get two of his fighters to square off for the championship belt. That’s James Kirkland vs Saul Canelo Alvarez. The problem that Vanes has is that he has been number 1 for awhile now. How can he “possible” be skipped over and not mentioned as Canelo’s next opponent if he get’s past Sugar Shane Mosley.
Well, Vanes didn’t take it too kindly and vented to Oscar De La Hoya on twitter. His remarks were, “Hey Drag Queen next time you talk about 154 pounders dn’t forget the nightmare I’m coming after everyone”. Even though it was a hard blow, it’s known to the public that Oscar was dressed in Drag Queen type clothing. Oscar cleared the air last year letting the public know that he had a problem with substance abuse and it caused him to do some things that he was not proud of. Vanes apparently didn’t hold back any punches. He wants to get under Oscar’s skin.
Some people wonder why. Maybe that’s his way of getting attention from Oscar. Maybe he’s hoping that Oscar would “sic” Saul after him to get him to shut his mouth be securing a victory over him in the ring. Who knows what the method to the madness was. Damage was done and once it hits the social media, there is no turning back. Maybe it might work and get him the title shot, and maybe it just might backfire. Leave it up to Sugar Shane, he should be upset for not even being given a chance to beat Canelo. Maybe Shane should really be the one venting. Stay tuned as we are sure this is far from over.
