Jr middleweight contender Carlos Molina (19-5-6KO-2D) sat down with 8CN and spoke about his recent heart breaking controversial loss Vs. James Kirkland. Now anyone who saw the fight, perhaps except for so called boxing judge Gale Van Hoy, witnessed Molina soundly win round after round. The controversy started when Molina got up from a flash knockdown and while the referee was counting, his corner guy entered the ring. The referee seemed confused and it appeared as if he had to call people to the ring to get instructions. Molina returned to his corner, and after a conversation with someone outside of the ring, the referee DQ’d Molina. Technically the referee had the authority to DQ him, but why the conversations and why tell Molina to return to his corner before disqualifying him?
