John McCormick: Brandon Rios by mid-late round stoppage. I expect Abril to have some success early on in the fight, but Rios will walk through the early fire to have success of his own starting in the middle rounds. Once Rios steps on the gas, Abril will be unable to stand up to the punishment for long and the fight will be ended when the referee intervenes and puts a halt to the action.

Scott Shaffer: Brandon Rios in six. In his last fight, a supposedly out-of-shape Rios threw about a thousand punches and won nearly every round vs. a determined opponent. This time, Rios will be in better shape and Richard Abril wont be able to hang.
Doveed Linder: I pick Brandon Rios to win a decision over Richard Abril. I view Rios as a good fighter who can produce great results. But in order to produce great results, he has to fight a ?fight of his life? type of fight as he did against Miguel Acosta. He looked very average in his last fight and I don?t expect him to shine bright against Abril. But if he were to face Juan Manuel Marquez later this year at 140 pounds, I think we would see the Brandon Rios that we know and love in a fight that I view as 50-50.
