Las Vegas ? Once again Brandon Bam Bam Rios lost a battle with the scales.
Minutes ago he weighed in 137 pounds or two pounds over the lightweight limit which will not allow him to win WBA title tomorrow from Richard Abril who weighed in at 135 pounds. Rios was given an hour to lose two pounds.
Other contestants Mike Alvarado and Mauricio Herrera both weighed in at 140 pounds, a junior welterweight limit. Mercito Gesta was 137 pounds and his opponent Oscar Cuero 138 pounds.
All three fights will be televised live by PPV directly from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Please check out the weigh in video.
