38-year old Juan Manuel Marquez is still one of the biggest names in the sport and could be in line for a huge 2012 if a possible fight with Brandon Rios is July and a fourth encounter with Manny Pacquiao later in the year comes to fruition.
Marquez is lined up for an April 14th date against little-known Ukrainian Sergey Fedchenko in his native Mexico City in a fight that sees him as a heavy favorite. But Fedchenko (30-1, 13 knockouts) is paying little attention to the odds and instead relishing the moment.
?It was always my dream to fight for a world title,? stated Fedchenko in a BoxingScene.com piece by Salvador Rodriguez. ?When I was told about the possibility of coming to fight with Juan Manuel I did not hesitate for a minute.?
Fedchenko was recently spotted in training and for some readers, the photos will serve as a first look at the once-beaten contender.
